The KB sealing process

How a KB paver restoration actually runs.

KB's published service sequence includes pressure cleaning, joint re-sanding, and paver sealing. Ask KB to confirm the applicable work for your surface during the on-site estimate.

Step by step

Four stages. One controlled sequence.

  1. 01

    Inspect & discuss

Walk the surface, note damaged or uneven areas and problem joints, and discuss the work the property may need.

  2. 02

    Deep clean

Pressure-clean the pavers to lift dirt, growth, and old haze so the surface is ready to take sealer evenly.

  3. 03

    Re-sand the joints

Refill the joints between pavers before sealing. Use the on-site estimate to discuss sand-color preferences for the property.

  4. 04

    Seal & protect

Apply the paver sealer across the surface, then let it cure before the area goes back into normal use.

Planning your paver restoration

Know what to evaluate before choosing a finish.

Every paver surface starts in a different condition. A useful evaluation connects what is visible today with preparation and finish questions to discuss on-site.

A homeowner's checklist

Four parts of a clear restoration plan.

  1. 01

    Surface condition

Look for uneven areas, damaged pavers, worn joints, existing coatings, and areas that need closer inspection.

  2. 02

    Color-restoration intent

Decide whether your priority is a natural appearance or a richer color direction, then discuss that preference on-site.

  3. 03

    Finish selection

Review the available finish direction against your actual pavers. Reference images can guide a conversation but cannot promise an exact match.

  4. 04

    Process questions

Ask about the preparation sequence, repair needs, included areas, finish direction, and how pricing would be determined.

Good to know

Common questions about the work

Do you clean before sealing?

Yes — the surface is cleaned and the joints re-sanded first. Sealer is only applied once the pavers are clean and stable.

What surfaces do you cover?

Paver driveways, walkways, pool decks, patios, and lanais. Point out visible damage and uneven areas during the estimate so KB can assess them on-site.

How is pricing set?

Pricing is not stated on this website. Ask KB how project pricing is determined during the on-site estimate.

What happens to sunken or damaged pavers?

Point them out during the estimate. Ask KB whether it provides a written scope and, if so, whether that document would identify repair needed before sealing.

How do I choose the finish?

Use the estimate to discuss the finish you prefer. If KB provides one, a written scope should confirm the current product and finish options for your pavers. Reference images are directional, not a promise of an exact result.

Where does KB work?

KB is based in North Port, with Sarasota County as its main service county and nearby Southwest Florida communities also served. The property address is checked during the estimate request before any visit is confirmed.
